No Place For Heroes Victorious At The First Round Of L’Omnium Du Rock

Paris-via-Montreal rockers No Place For Heroes won the first round of the Omnium Du Rock competition this past Thursday at Petit Campus in Montreal. The contest gathers up the best of Quebec’s up-and-coming music scene in a four-round battle, with over $70,000 in prizes to be won. It’s all broadcast live via the Omnium web TV channel, present throughout the contests battles in Montreal, Quebec City and Gatineau/Ottawa.

“We were pleasantly surprised by the crowd’s reaction to our new stuff,” comments NPFH singer Will Maurer. “We are anxious to come back with a new set list that we can stack with new songs, as well as stuff from the first album.”
